It's nice to imagine Robert as a traveler who leaves from his farm in the Welsh hills to travel the world and immerse himself in its sounds, who never looks back and laughs while everyone continues to ask himself why he doesn't want to do the Led reunion Zeppelin.
Robert simply doesn't want to because he has enough inspiration and energy to continue on his path and continue to expand the boundaries of the rock, blues and folk sound that Zeppelin designed in that unrepeatable way.
"I feel like a sailor who has spent a lot of time in many different ports," he said in an interview.
The wanderer brought his fascinating presence around the world and returned to us with scratchy, intense and hypnotic music without losing any of his dark charm.
As his guitarist Justin Adams (in Robert's previous band) said: "Plant creates an atmosphere in the studio that makes you think that at any moment lightning could come down from the sky"
