relazione e rottura con Robert Plant, durante un'intervista telefonica a
Toronto. Le voci sulla loro storia d'amore sono state ampiamente riportate nel 1990, il che
durò diversi anni.
Myles ha detto di aver fortemente incoraggiato Plant a continuare la sua carriera da solista (in
1993), mentre "il suo socio, il management e la casa discografica desideravano prenderlo
lungo il sentiero del remake dei Led Zeppelin. Stavo cercando di aiutare il mio amante, il mio

29 Palms è una canzone dell’album Fate of Nations del 1993 di Robert Plant. È stato scritto da Charlie Jones, Chris Blackwell, Doug Boyle, Phil Johnstone e Robert Plant.
La canzone è stata scritta sulla cittadina di Twentynine Palms, in California, che si trova nella contea di San Bernardino nel deserto del Mojave. basata sulla cantante canadese Alannah Myles, con la quale Plant era in tournée in California quando scrisse la canzone.

Brano tratto dal primo album di Robert Plant dopo lo scioglimento dei Led Zeppelin, l'eccellente "Pictures at Eleven", dal tour oltreoceano del 1983. Sembra che questo non sia mai arrivato su YouTube prima in questa forma, cioè comprensiva delle affascinanti osservazioni introduttive. (. L'energia e il carattere della voce di Plant lo mostrano al massimo della forma. La band include, alla chitarra, Robbie Blunt, un coraggioso chitarrista (come lo era Page stesso!) del Worcestershire, che eccelle in questa canzone come co-autore e musicista. Anche Phil Collins è alla batteria – a quei tempi si muoveva attraverso i generi, ad esempio suonava anche per John Martyn.
